About 

Infield is based in Hokitika and work up and down the West Coast region of New Zealand. We are principally in the native timber industry and process Rimu, Matai, Kahikatea and Miro species. Logs are sourced from sustainable harvest programs and salvaged dead and are then crosscut, extracted and milled into timber used for furniture, flooring and veneer. Every log is approved and accounted for by the Governments Indigenous Forestry Unit. We were authorized to extract windthrown native timber from areas of Department of Conservation managed Crown land after Cyclone Ita.

Richard started in the forestry industry in the mid 90's  and has also worked on a range of construction projects around the world.

He and his team are proficient and experienced on many types of machinery and take pride in their ability to complete difficult tasks to a high standard.
